No Feet!

In cricketing circles there’s always reference to feet movement. When a batsman is in form the feet move… they take the striker too the ball… or away, or move him to leg or away from leg. All technicalities which pass us mere mortals right by.

Note the photo above. Yes, CF has just had his leg stump pegged back. Ahhh you say, it’s not good to see one of our own being dismissed. No, it’s not. But then, you’ve got to agree with me… all action…the ball, the bail in the air… the stump at an angle… and the batsman with feet firmly rooted to the ground! No feet… no longer in!!
